Research interests

I am interested in the liaison between language use and gender-based violence.

Although my PhD thesis is still in the works, I have published on this topic from different angles:

  • – Domestic violence against women as a form of gender-based violence in telecinematic discourse.
  • – Gender-based violence in news and social media discourse.

I have also published on the issues of antifeminism and postfeminism in education, online grooming (with Prof Nuria Lorenzo-Dus, Dr Carmen Pérez-Sabater and Dr Sergio Maruenda-Bataller), and critical pedagogy (with Dr Villacañas de Castro).
